Accumulation and distribution of micronutrients in banana cv. Williams (Musa AAA Simmonds) with different doses of nitrogen

This research evaluated the effect of nitrogen fertilization (0, 161, 321.8, or 483 kg ha-1) on accumulation Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, and B in banana plants cv. Williams two production cycles Uraba, Colombia. The micronutrient models for were obtained with a multivariate approach differences between cycles, using randomized complete block design repeated measurements over time. N doses greater Zn fruits 321.8 ha-1. average sequence extraction by whole was Fe>Mn?Zn>B>Cu first cycle Fe>Cu>Mn?Zn>B second cycle. organ-specific varied depending stage development. Fe major extracted corm, pseudostem, bunch. leaves had greatest Mn. higher fertilizer generated response terms plants.
